Sometimes it’s not at all about how deep the pow is, but much more about how light it is. The day I took this photo of Edwin was exactly a day like that. Again, we hiked up La Dent, but decided to drop in a little earlier. I set myself up so I could take photo’s of all the guys there, and one by one took shot’s of my buddies coming down.
“This shot was the winner of the day, without a doubt.”
It wasn’t easy shooting in such flat light. Getting everything in focus was though. Regardless, this shot was the winner of the day, without a doubt. I just think it’s really cool how he almost disappears. He’s floating IN the snow, and that is exactly what it feels like when you’re skiing pow.
